AI Usage Tracker

About AI Usage Tracker.

AI Usage Tracker keeps connected AI account limits, reset times and supported agent states in view while you work on a Mac.

Made by Thomas.

Thomas is the maker of AI Usage Tracker and the publisher of this site’s guides and comparisons. App support, purchase questions and corrections go to tom@aiusagetracker.dev.

The app is a one-time purchase for macOS 15 or later, with support for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. AI provider subscriptions are separate. See current pricing and installation and account setup.

Keep the next limit in view.

A session quota, a conversation’s remaining context and an API bill answer different questions. AI Usage Tracker focuses on supported account readings and reset times, displayed in a screen-edge notch so you can check them without opening each provider’s settings.

The data available depends on the provider and the connected account. A missing reading is not a zero balance. The Claude walkthrough shows the setup, and the Codex and Cursor pages explain their account requirements.

How the guides are made.

The guides and comparisons are published under Thomas’s name for AI Usage Tracker. AI tools assist with research organization, drafting and site implementation. The articles draw on linked official product pages, documentation, repositories and store listings, alongside our own app’s implementation.

The original product and pricing research was checked on . Adding a byline or updating a screenshot does not mean those prices or competitor features have been rechecked. Each article keeps its research date and sources visible.

Competing apps were not installed or benchmarked. We did not measure their memory use or test every integration. Recommendations are assessments of documented capabilities, rather than firsthand performance reviews. The selection method explains which products were included and why.

The Claude walkthrough uses real installation and account-settings captures. Its usage panel is a labeled illustration rendered from this website’s demo, with example percentages and reset times. It is not a current paid Claude account reading.

Our commercial interest.

AI Usage Tracker is our product, and purchases from this site support it. That relationship is disclosed on every guide and comparison. We include free tools and competitors when their documented features better fit a workflow, and distinguish subscription quotas, context capacity, token reports and billing instead of treating them as interchangeable.

Support, privacy and corrections.
